DS90UB947/948 - Number of GPIOs

Hi,

I would like to know how many GPIOs can use DS90UB947/948.

My system requirement is here.
- don't use I2S I/F
- use 2-lane FPD-Link mode
- can use register control for GPIO_REG from processor

Can I use GPIO[3:0], D_GPIO[3:0] and GPIOx_REG[8:5]?
so, I can use 12 independent GPIOs. My understanding is correct?

Yes, that's correct. Keep in mind that the GPIO_REG pins can only be controlled by register, setting them to high or low. All of the other GPIO (and D_GPIO) pins can be controlled by register in the same way, or as a pass-through from 947 to 948, or 948 to 947.
