SN65LVDS4: SN65LVDS4 / Operation with VCC=2.5V and VDD=1.8V

Hi,

I know that it is not recommended to use with VCC=2.5V and VDD=1.8V. But then I'd like to know what issue will be happened if it's operated with this condition. Will excessive heat up be happened due to unexpected higher leak current?

Hi Sonoki,

With VCC=2.5V and VDD=1.8, LVDS4 will not recover the incoming differential data correctly in some corners especially at weak corners. In general, the leakage current won’t cause excessive heat up issue.
