I have a question about function tables of receiver in the MAX3238 and MAX3238E datasheet.

Could you see following figure?

Toshiya,

The main difference is normally the ESD levels. The MAX3238E has IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection, where it meets +/- 8kV of contact discharge and +/-15kV of Air-gap discharge.

As for the function tables, I will request the applications team look into the data sheet discrepancies as I am currently unsure.

Hello Toshiya-san,

The MAX3238 data sheet is in error. "<30s" is the correct term for both devices.
I will inform the product engineer of the error.
