SN65DP159: SNx5DP159 can support HDMI HDR ?

Hi,

SNx5DP159 is DP++ to HDMI retimer, then can it support HDMI HDR (High dynamic range) TV specification ? Please let me know if you have actual example for such system.

Hi Sonoki,

Our redrivers/retimer only deal with electrical signals, not with protocol information.

DP159 supports data rates up to 6Gbps, introduced in HDMI2.0, HDMI HDR is introduced in HDMI2.0a and uses the same data rates up to 6Gbps.

So, Dp159 should be able to handle the signals of HDMI HDR.
