Hello,

Im trying to downsize my car dvd system and want to add all my parts to one pcb. I currently have 2 lcd controllers powering there seperate screens. With my research ive learned there is no direct HDMI to 2lane 30 pin EDP. So my question is what and how could I convert hdmi to lvds then to edp. I found this LCM067001 but cant not find what IC's are used. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Shane,

TI does not have a single device HDMI to eDP solution. See e2e.ti.com/.../475491

However, we do have a multi-device solution for HDMI to LVDS (below)

TMDS/DVI/HDMI to parallel (DVI Rx): TFP401A and DVI Rx to 2 ch. LVDS Tx: DS90C387A (If single ch. LVDS out then SN75LVDS83B)

Unfortunately, TI doesn't have an LVDS to eDP solution

Thanks you for the reply. Would it be an option to use a HDMI to display port IC and then I can convert my DP signal to EDP?

Hi Shane,

It is possible however, TI does not have an HDMI to DP solution or a DP to eDP solution.
