DS80PCI402: PCIE lanes Pin Swap

Part Number: DS80PCI402

Hello Team,

Customer is using the DS80PCI402  ( 3V3, ENSMB=0) to drive a PCIEx4 in their application.

For layout reasons they have swapped a couple of a PCIE  lanes. Instead of connect correctly the IN+ and IN- to the respectively signal + and – ,
they have  exchanged the + with the – in the Input and  also have exchanged the + and – in the OUTput, to maintain the polarity.

Is this allowed?

Thanks for your inputs with this topic.
