SN65LVDS1: Can I connect LVCMOS input to SN65LVDS1?

Part Number: SN65LVDS1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AVC4T245, , SN65LVDS2

Hi,

In my design SN74AVC4T245 is used to level shift 1.8V clock to 3.3V.

I have to convert differential clock from ADC to single ended and single ended clock from SoC to differential for DAC.

1) Can I connect the output of SN74AVC4T245 to SN65LVDS1?

2) Can I connect output of SN65LVDS2 to SN74AVC4T245?

3) Will the SN65LVDS1 support CMOS level?

4) Is there any other single ended to differential converter from TI which has zero delay?

Regards,

  • Hello Shanu,

    Please see the answers below.

    1) Yes, you can connect the AVC4T245 to the LVDSS1.

    2) Yes, you can connect the LVDS2 to the AVC4T245

    3) there is not problem connecting a CMOS output to a TTL input.

    4) There is not possible to have a zero device delay device.

    Regards,

    Gerardo
