UA9636A: RS232 & UART switching application

Hello,

I used TI's SN74LVC1G3157 analog switch for previous application, but VCC range of this device is not enough for RS232 line.

I'd like to switch RS232 (+12.0V) and UART (+3.0V) signals, and find uA9636A.

Is there any application for switching RS232, UART output from common input?

Switching by input is performed manually in the AP.

    I only found a mux that might fit your need here, like MUX509. Can you do the switching in digital domain then let UA9636A handle driving RS232 lines? In that case, it would be much easier to find such analog switches.
