Part Number: TPS65986
Hi Team,
Can you help below?
I finally in “waiting for assembled PCB” state and suddenly a firmware fell on me.
Now I need to write initial TPS65986 firmware to blank SPI flash present on PCB.
I understand that I can still do it by connecting SPI programmer clip on memory chip, but I’m looking for a way to do it either through USB connector or UART.
I read that TI does not want to share details about SWD interface, which is present on USB after flash boot attempt fails:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/usb/f/1008/t/627380?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=tps65986
Still I’m kindly asking You if it is possible please to check with them, maybe for Telsys they will make an exception. I’m 100% sure that what lays within the TPS65986 is a CortexM0 and they have some flash burn utility, which may work with JLINK, which I have.
The second way I’m thinking of is to pull down SPI_MISO and download firmware from MCU through UART. Where can I find an information about that protocol?
Thanks,
Shlomi
