SN65HVD52: Difference to SN65HVD50 (25Mbps)

Is there any difference other than the DATA RATE between A and B ?

A:SN65HVD52 (1Mbps)

B:SN65HVD50 (25Mbps)

I think that the basic construction of A and B is the same.

For example, A is resistant to line noise.

I want to choose the best component.

    You are right that these two parts are very similar to one another. HVD52 was design for 1 Mbps operation, and so it has slower rise/fall times (due to slew rate limiting) compared to HVD50. The other key difference is that the input impedance of the HVD50 device is lower than HVD52. This helps to support the higher data rates, but may also limit the number of transceivers that could be connected to standard RS-485 bus. (HVD50 is a "1/2 unit load," meaning 64 nodes can be supported; HVD52 is "1/8 unit load," meaning 256 nodes can be supported.
