TUSB8020B: I2C/SMBus slave operation

Hi,

I had already designed TUSB8020B for USB3.0 hub application, and I'm trying to set up I2C/SMBus slave operation for recognition of USB3.0 memory and USB3.0 to SATA bridge.

I want to know how to set up the related registers for I2C/SMBus slave operation instead of I2C EEPROM operation.

Please let me know that or send me the example register setup.

Jeffrey,

TUSB8020B will act as SMBus slave when the SMBUSz/SS_DN2 pin is pulled low. Keep in mind TUSB8020B will not enumerate until the SMBus host configures the device and/or clearing the CFG_ACTIVE bit. Please refer to section 8.4.3 in the datasheet for more info.
