Hi Sir 

My customer now design USB hub and face the problem that when down stream USB port plug in. than the Vbus voltage will be drop. that will case other USB port have abnormal operation.

I suggest customer add Load switch that like TPS2559 in down stream USB port to solve it. 

Is it correct?

Because I have confuse how to application TPS2559 and TPS22917.

    Hi, Bogey,

    TPS2559 is a precision adj current limit switch, which function of TPS2559 do you think can resolve your issue?

    From my understanding, you can add more output cap to avoid Vbus drop.

    Just from the simple formula: I = C*dV/dt. If your downstream USB port's sink current is same, increase C, will decrease the voltage drop.

    I don't have a detailed document for this, maybe you can search more in google.
