TS3USBA225: TS3USBA225 good but need a mic input as well

Part Number: TS3USBA225
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5USBA224, TS3USBCA4

I am tasked with finding parts for use with USB audio. I have a few requirements for an analog switch and hope you can recommend a part:

1. 3:1 switch that takes USB 2.0 D+ and D-, Audio L and R, and UART inputs.

2. Allows for mono and stereo Mic to host.

I also have a couple of questions about analog switches that you may be able to help with:

1. How is accessory detection accomplished? Is it done via another IC, internal to the switch, or does detection fall on the host processor?

2. If an accessory only works with a 3.5mm audio jack, would having an adapter that brings in the audio lines to the switch suffice to work as if it were directly connected via a 3.5mm audio jack?

Please recommend a component. I see that the TS3USBA225 would work as an analog switch but unfortunately doesn't have a mic input.
