SN65LVCP23: device to device skew needed

Part Number: SN65LVCP23

Hello Team,

the data sheet specifies channel to channel skew with 10ps (typ) and 50ps (max). When using several SN65LVCP23 to switch several LVDS signal in parallel we need to know the device to device skew.

Can you provide this, please?

if you use the same source, skew is depends on your trace length matching

Hello Brian,

let's assume exactly same conditions for 2 ICs on 2 different boards.

The typical skew between 2 channels for both is 10ps.

If both devices meet the typical value the part to part skew will also be 10ps, correct?

If the skew between out0 and out1 for part 1 is 10ps and the skew for part 2 is 50ps, the max. skew between the parts is 50ps, correct?

Please confirm or let me know if I am wrong.

you are right, but the signal to two different parts have to be sync, then you can find skew for these two parts.
