SN75DPHY440SS: Could this chip work with the LVDS outputs from SN65LVDT100?

Could this chip work with the LVDS outputs from SN65LVDT100?

We use this chip as a retimer for a 4-ch mipi cs2 input from a sensor, and the data path is like this:

sensor(mipi dphy) -->SN65LVDT100 --> SN75DPHY440SS->FPGA.

We can monitor the LVDS outputs from SN65LVDT100(4 channles) and  they look good, but there is no anything output from SN75DPHY440SS. 

My questions are:

1. Could SN75DPHY440SS work with the LVDS output of SN65LVDT100? Or it must be fed with a standard MIPI DPHY output?

2. Should there be 0.1uF caps(in series) on the inputs of SN75DPHY440SS(DA0~DA3, DAC) for AC coupling?
