Hi,

Does TLK1023 reg 0xb HS pattern will pass through 8B/10B coding/decoding? I generate one chip prbs-7 and use another chip register 0xf and 0x10 to check.

reg0xf=0x196B but register 0x10 will always 0xffff . When I turn on PRBS checker and turn off 0x8021=0x1f. register 0x10 =0

Can you please provide more details on what you are trying to do and the setup? Do you have 2 TLK10232 chips talking to each other? What do you mean by "use another chip register 0xf and 0x10 to check"?

Hi Yaser,

Yes, I use 2 TLK10233 through DS125Df1610 connect together. I generate pattern from one and check at another chip. Both enable PRBS will be OK. If I send pattern from one and another to check 8B/10B, it seem can not work.

Hello Cannie,

The test pattern does go through 8b/10b encoder/decoder. What do you have applied to the pin PRBSEN? Can you also check PRBS_PASS pin, is it 0 or 1?
