Hi Phillip,

If I understand correctly, customer is trying to DP83869HM in 1Gigabit Media Convertor Mode. They can use this by performing the HW Straps configuration as given in datasheet. No addtional register configuration is needed.

it`s the fiber to ethernet application and micro-controller was needed,

please have a look for GUI register in attachment xlsx file slide-2, thanks

Hi,

I am not clear on the issue. DP83869HM can be configured in Media Convertor mode without any Register configuration.

Can you please explain the issue ?
