SN65HVD888: SN65HVD888R test observation

Hi Team,

Need you help to solve below issues on SN65HVD888R and observed as below,

1) Data seen in A and B lines near to the IC Pins But not receiving data at Rx, when RE’ is low.

2) There’s difference in voltage between A and B we are observing (is it expected to happen).

a) 1.25V at B

b) 2.3V at A

Can you please help with your quick inputs to identify and rectify this issue.

Hi Shinu,

Can you please show us the waveforms for the A and B signals at the input to the HVD888 device? (I couldn't tell exactly what was happening from your description since you say data is seen but also mention static voltage levels.) Is the R output toggling with incorrect data, or is it stuck high or stuck low? Can we please review a schematic of the RS-485 implementation?
