SN65LVDS387EVM: 16-Channel LVDS driver

Part Number: SN65LVDS387EVM

Hi,

I wanted to test the 16-Channel LVDS driver and decided to do it with a 16-Channel LVDS receiver. The goal was basically to see if the driver was converting from LVTTL to LVDS, and to see if the receiver was converting from LVDS back to LVTTL. Now, the signal didn't even went through. I measured the output pins from the driver and didn't get a signal so basically the test from the driver was unsuccessful. At first, I thought that the enable pin, P2-1, was at low-state but it was actually measured at 3.3V, resulting to be at a high-state, meaning that theoretically the chip should be working fine. I reviewed the pinout configuration so I'm sure that I'm connecting the LVTTL signal in the correct pin, P2-4.

At this point we're concluding that the chip appears to be damaged. If there any suggestion or if you think I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.
