is it possible to estimate, whether when operating SN65LVDS2 (SOT-23-5 package) at PCB temperatures of 85°C or 90°C, the lifetime of the device can be impacted (shortened)?
Our PCB is completely embedded in a plastic protective mass; we have now PCB temp. limit set to 80°C but we'd like to increase it. We observed that the heat from SN65LVDS2 (operating) increases the temperature by about 2°C
We can provide offline a part of layout and schematic to better understand the thermal design.
