Part Number: TPS25740

Hello TI engineer,

right now I want buy TPS25740B to build a board(usb-pd+flyback) for type-c application, when I purchase it on mouser, found there are a lot of part number, such as TPS25740BRGER,TPS25740BRGET,TPS25740ARGER,TPS25740ARGER,TPS25740RGER,TPS25740RGET.

May I know what's the different between them, how I choose one to buy, all the part number including firmware? can I use a power-z km001 to debug it? looking forward your reply. thanks

  • Hello Hui,

There are three variations of this devices:

    1. TPS25740
    2. TPS25740A
    3. TPS25740B

Each one of these are different from one another and have their own datasheets that you find on TI.com or mousers website. For each of these three devices, they have a different orderable number which dictate the number of devices included within a reel

    1. RGER
    2. RGET

As far as a flyback example, for each one of these devices, there are reference design to help you get started. Just go on the product page, and clock on "Design and Development"
