Hi Team,

LMH1208 will be used for long distance transmission with cables, could you please tell the driving ability? How long the cable could be driven?

    Hi Hao,

    LMH1228 or LMH1208 devices are SDI cable drivers. Maximum single output amplitude is 880mV.

    Please note, how long cable or cable length is mainly depended on the receiving device or cable equalizer at the other side of the cable. For example, please take a look at cable reach on devices such as LMH1219 or LMH1297 devices. These devices specify cable length equalized by these devices.
