SN65C3221-Q1: AEC-Q100 qualification status

Part Number: SN65C3221-Q1

Dear All and TI Experts,

In my application I need to use a AEC-Q100 qualified RS-232 translator. I have come up with the following TI parts:

SN65C3221IPWRQ1

TRS3223QPWRQ1

MAX3232EIPWRQ1

In their datasheets, they all say "Qualified for Automotive applications" However not explicitly identifed as "AEC-Q100".

Could anyone can tell its AEC-Q100 status? Is it fully qualified, or only partially comply with AEC?

Mehmet,

I just checked the qualification reports, and these devices were qualified as per AEC-Q100 in 2012-2014. I believe at that time the revision was AEC-Q100 rev. G, and the current revision is rev. H. That being said, these devices are indeed compliant with AEC-Q100.

Mehmet,

If you go to the Quality Summary page, you can type in the part number in the search box and get the quality summary for that device. If that is not enough for the customer, you can email me directly and we can figure out what to do. You can find my email by clicking on my username.
