Dear Sir,

As below picture application(EVM test), my customer host side can't read smart phone but if reduce 1m USB cable each side can read data(follow EVM table-2 setting(EQ=3, boost=high)).

have any suggestion can be improve?

I saw datasheet said: can support 5m pre-channel or 2m post channel could you let me know base on below circuit which is pre-channel/ post channel side.

May I know TUSB216 RTM schedule?

Hi,

Please try decreasing DC Boost. Can you provide any eye diagram or scope captures of DP and DM? Pre-channel is in-between Infotainment and TUSB215. Post channel is in between TUSB215 and Smart Phone. TUSB216 should RTM in late 4Q.

Dear Malik,

another question: TUSB215 support Pre-channel 5m or Post Channel 2m.

In datasheet page-7 fig5 is a pre-channel 5m cable, what EQ & DC boost setting? post channel cable length ?

HI,

TUSB215 supports 5m pre-channel. The figure in the datasheet has not post-channel and uses high EQ and high DC boost setting.
