TPD6S300A: Frequency of ESD testing Lower Than 70ns

Dear Team,

From the datasheet, it shows that the OVP turn off time is about 70ns.

But my customer said that in ESD testing the frequency of ESD test equipment is about 10~20ns.

So they have concern that if TPD6S300A could protect successfully in such condition.

Do you have any advice?

    Hi Jim

    The TPD6S300A provides IEC 61000-4-2 system level ESD protection for the CC1, CC2, SBU1, SBU2, DP, and DM pins. The part is certified to provide protection in these test conditions.

    What ESD test is your customer referring to?
