TPS65987D: GPIO used to control Bq27513 OTG enable

Part Number: TPS65987D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25713

Can  you confirm that TPS65987D GPIO7 or GPIO17 can be used with  "#45 Source_Sink_Event_Port1" event to provided USB OTG Enable output to the BQ25713A EN_OTG (pin 5) input to control the source/sink direction for OTG operation?

Since the TPS65987D also appears to place thiese GPIO into Hi-Z on power up, should a Pull-Down [to Gnd] resistor (100KΩ) be placed on the BQ25713's OtG_VAP pin 5 to ensure the BQ25713 is in "normal" sink mode if nothing is driving the signal at a given time?
