Could you give me comment on operating junction temperature Tj range?
The datasheet just describes "operation from -20C to 85C", but I'm not sure if it's junction temperature Tj or ambient temperature Ta. I assume it's ambient temperature Ta.

The datasheet specifies the Operating Free-Air Temperature (TA) of -20C to 85C under recommended operating conditions. We can estimate the operational Tj by assuming max ambient temperature and power draw:

Using the datasheet specified values for Max Vcc = 5.25V, Max Icc = 110mA, Max TA = 85C, and Theta JA = 111C/W (NS) or 78C/W (N) we'll estimate an operational Tj for each package:
N package: Tj ~= 150C
NS package: Tj ~= 130C
*Note that RthetaJA is system dependent so other applications of this equation may need to be altered to account for system conditions. Let me know if you have any questions about this estimation or about SN751178.
