The SN75DP128A is designed to support the 1:2 switching of the bidirectional auxiliary signals in both a differential (DisplayPort) mode and an I2C (DVI, HDMI) mode. The performance of the Auxiliary bus is optimized based on the status of the selected output port’s CAD pin. When CAD is low, it is differential (DisplayPort) mode. When CAD is high, it is I2C mode.

Unused ML_IN, AUX, and CAD can be left floating when not used.
