From the datasheet of DS90UB954-Q1 i can see that DS90UB935-Q1 is compatible, but in the EVM product sheet it only explicitly says only DS90UB953-Q1 or DS90UB933-Q1.

1. So my question is i have camera with DS90UB935-Q1 serialiser, will DS90UB954-Q1EVM support this, if not can you recommend which desrialiser eval board can be used(i am not able to find EVM for DS90UB936-Q1)?

2. instead of EVM will there be any SOM with supported desrialiser with which i can directly connect the camera(with DS90UB935-Q1 serrialser) and can give me an MIPI CSI output, if any som available like this that i can buy directly will be great.

Hello Syed,

935 is fully compatible with 954 so you can use this deserializer setup you already have. All configuration is the same as 953. The only difference is that 935 supports lower CSI-2 throughput compared to 953.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

I do understand that 935 is compatible with 954 as i read this information in the datasheet.

The evaluation modules are costly, before i purchase this EVM, i want to make sure this will definitely work.

So if you can give me an explicit confirmation that the evaluation module of DS90UB954 from the below link , will definitely work with DS90UB935 serialised camera output, will be of great help.
