TLK1221: SGMII capability

Hi team,

Does TLK1221 support SGMII? The goal is make a RGMII or TBI to SGMII bridge. Do you have an alternative suggestion for that?

The TLK1221 does not implement any SGMII specific PCS function, not does it output the SGMII high-speed recovered clock. If SGMII without clock is being implemented then the TLK should be able to meet the high-speed interface requirements for it if SGMII high-speed data is passed through it. Do we have an application example showing TLK1221 as SGMII-Interface or any guidance on how to implement this?

Hi Franz,

No, we unfortunately do not have SGMII specific application example. Host should configure and provide clock and data signals for 1.25Gbps Ethernet.
