Part Number: TUSB1064RNQEVM

HI sir

Checking DP output by purchasing TUSB1064RNQ_EVKIT.

However, the signal from the smartphone (TYPE-C) is not DP output.

However, on a laptop, you can check the video on the monitor.

Please help me with the problem.(TUSB1064RNQ_EVKIT)

    Hi Hyojoon,

    The smartphone used may not be enabled for DP alternate mode. Are you sure this smartphone has DP alternate mode enabled?

    This model supports alternate mode (Galaxy s10).

    Can you tell me why it is not working on my phone?

    (If the kit is not supported, can you recommend a kit that can receive video signals from a cell phone and output video?)

    Hi,

    There could be a number of reasons. There could be a issue with the PD communication, AUX bus or DP link training. Can the phone connect over USB? What kind of cables are you using in your setup? DP alt mode can be used on the EVM, you can see this with the case of laptop.

    We should start with the PD communication to understand what exactly is going on. Do you have a PD/Type-C protocol analyzer available? If not, do you have a DP AUX bus analyzer?
