TUSB4041I: USB Hub Not Recognized as listed device

I am using the Apalis iMX6 SOM as the upstream device on the USB Hub. When I have GRSTz low, the crystal on the hub oscillates. Once I assert GRSTz high, the crystal stops oscillating even if I have a downstream device plugged in. Neither my downstream device nor my hub are recognized by the Apalis iMX6 SOM when I type lsusb in the linux serial port. Could my hub be stuck in suspend mode?

Hi Jocelyn,

It is unlikely the hub is stuck in suspend, it is more common that it did not complete enumeration.

Can you confirm if USB_VBUS is high at the pin (~500 mV) and that SMBUSz is high if no SMBUS host is configuring the hub. Also, check that no blank EEPROM is connected to the hub.
