LMH1219: Signal level is required for input 0

We are looking at using 6G SDI for this product. Reading the datasheet I am not really understanding what signal level is required for input 0 on the cable equalizer. Would this information be available? I will likely need it to back calculate the allowed cable loss for EMI margin and connector margin.

Hi David,

Per SMPTE specifications, signal launch amplitude must be 800mV+/-10%. After this signal goes through the cable length noted in the data sheet it gets attenuated, at worst case by up to 40 to 45dB. Device can equalize the signal under this condition.
