DS91M040: Signal Amplitude

Part Number: DS91M040

Hi Team,

My customer is facing reflection noise issue in the system mounted DS91M040. They wanted to change a termination resister value to reduce the noise but The amplitude observed on the receiver side is smaller than they expected.

Can you tell me how the output amplitude is determined on this device?
According to the Fig.18 in the datasheet, If the resistance load is above 40ohm, the amplitude is expected to be around 600mV. But they have seen 300mV p-p output amp on 40ohm resistance load condition.
