DS90C363B: Skew versus Temperature

Part Number: DS90C363B

Hello E2E,

I am trying to get an idea of how the Differential Output Skew (Data versus Clock) varies over Temperature for the DS90C363B.

For example, in the Datasheet on page 4, the timing table shows that for a 65Mhz clock, the clock-to-data output skew is -0.20 to +0.20 ns.

I have a tight skew budget, and expect only to operate at around 35 deg C, so I wonder if I can "expect" less skew ?

From looking at datasheets of other LVDS parts I quickly found that there does not appear to be a consistent behavior.....  (i.e. for some parts the skew increased with Temp, and with others it Decreased......and still others had their worst skew at Ambient).

Any experience you can share would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hello,

We do not have this kind of datasheet available for this device - the only data available is what is in the datasheet for skew performance but this parameter is expected to be within +/-0.2ns across the entire temp range of the device

    Best Regards,

    Casey
