Hi team,

I have a question about the LMH0303 SDI cable driver. It has worked very well for my customer to drive a 75 ohm single ended coax cable. My question is, can it be used to drive an 150 ohm differential twinaxial cable? Of course with some modification to the output network configuration.

    Hi Errol,

    Yes LMH0303 or LMH0302 device family can drive 150-ohm differential cable or trace impedance. Internally the device is a balanced differential driver. Then external terminations are used to allow the device to drive either 75 or 50-ohm single ended or 150 or 100-ohm differential.
