XIO2001: Is new package version, XIO2001ZWS completely same electric characteristics as EOL package, XIO2001ZGU?

Hello guys,

One of my customers uses XIO2001ZGU for their current products.

TI informed that XIO2001ZGU will be EOL and XIO2001ZWS will be released soon instead of ZGU package.

The customer has the following question. Could you please give me your reply?

Q. Is the new package version, XIO2001ZWS completely same electric characteristics as EOL package, XIO2001ZGU?

Q. Is ZWS pin assignment completely same as ZGU?

And can ZWS package version be soldered without PCB foot pattern changing?

Greetings Kazuya-San,

Please note this end of life notice was because the supplier was discontinuing substrate material used for this device. The new ZWS pkg pin assignment and foot print is completely the same. Please note ZWS pkg uses the same X & Y dimensions and therefor they can be soldered on the boards using older ZGU pkg.
