Does the TSB41BA3BTPFPEP support the hot swap function?

Can a 1394 input be applied with power removed on this device? If so, where is this stated in the datasheet (the ABS max table indicates inputs < Vdd + 0.5V)?

Hi,

There is a fail-safe circuit that when detecting the loss of power to the device, it will disable the ports to ensure that the TSB41BA3B-EP does not load the TPBIAS of any connected device and blocks any leakage from the port back to the power plane.
