Hello team,

Could you please let me know if it is possible to realize half/full duplex switching solution by using two THVD1410?

If this idea is feasible, I'd like to optimize this solution by using one IC which has two half duplex transceiver integrated in it.

Does TI have such a solution? The supply voltage is 3.3V.

I think the schematic sould work. What's the application and system requirement (data rate, ESD, etc)? I think any 3.3V half-duplex RS-485 transceivers work in the schematic.

Hello Hao-san,

Sorry for a long delay.

Data rate: <250kbps

ESD: Contact=4kV, Air gap = 4kV at standard condition. So I'd like to secure contact >= 6kV and air gap >= 8kV.

Also, my customer is interested in surge immunity to endure a lightning.

So, I think THVD1419 should be a good choice. What do you think?
