TUSB320HI: 5V/3A UFP in GPIO mode

Hi Team,

 

Our application is UFP device and we would like to receive 5V/3A without USB PD.

If adapter with USB PD(VBUS=5V to 20V) is connected to UFP device with TUSB320HI(OUT1=OUT2=Low), Adapter output(VBUS line) is limited to 5V/3A even if our application doesn’t support USB PD.

Is my understanding correct?
