DS90UB960-Q1: line fault detection

Dear team,

Could you please help tell me how to detect the line fault? I didn't find the related description in the datasheet. Does the line fault mean FPDLINK cable?

Hi Sherry,

The 960 is only capable of detecting if a link is running. You can read register 0x4D.

Hi Jiashow,

If the customer wants to detect link fault like short to cable/short to ground or other link abnormal, do we have any documents to describe how to do this?

This isn't supported on the 960.
