Hi,

Out customers are thinking of a design like the one shown below.

Is it possible to input to CML after AC coupling 1.5V PCML?

Also, is it possible to output to 1.5V PCML after AC coupling VML?

Hi Nishie-San,

This depends on the data pattern being used. RC time constant of AC coupling Cap, 50-ohm input impedance should be higher than longest running pattern(consecutive ones or zeros).
