I would like to order this specific product : HD3SS6126EVM, it is said on the website that we can switch from USB3 micro B receptacles to "classic" USB connections as below : "USB 3.0 Micro-B receptacles are used on the host-side USB port but standard type-B receptacle can also be used if desired"
I don't get how to specify this change during the ordering process .. and I contacted the support that wasn't able to help with this

Hi,

Only the EVM with the Micro-B connector is available.

The statement "USB 3.0 Micro-B receptacles are used on the host-side USB port but standard type-B receptacle can also be used if desired" means when you design the HD3SS6126, you can also use standard B receptacle on the host side, you don't have to always use the Micro-B receptacle.

Thanks for your answer. Is there any way I can get the initial design of the HD3SS6126 and make the change myself before creating the EVM ? Is there any possibility to have this design done by the TI team ?
