TIOL1115: IO-Link stack

Part Number: TIOL1115

Does TI have any IO-link stack example codes to share? Preferably on C2000 platfrom,

  • Eddie,

I'm not aware of any stacks available at the moment, but I know we have an EP team working on a solution at the moment. It is not for the C2000 platform though. I've notified our IO-Link expert to comment further on this.

  • Hi Eddie,

As of now, there is not a TI developed IO-Link stack available to share.  All of the TI Designs that have been developed with a commercially available stack.

I know that both TMG and TE Concept have developed IO-Link stacks for use with TI MCUs (usually in the MSP430 family) and these have been used by TI in the various TI Designs.  The IO-Link stacks need to be obtained directly from the respective vendor.

    TMG: https://www.tmgte.de/en/products.html

    TE Concept: https://www.teconcept.de/en/io-link/

As an example, the TIDA-01250 TI Design does have some example firmware that can be downloaded that does not use an official IO-Link stack.  However, it can be modified to work with the TE Concept stack once that has been obtained.

    Regards,

    Jonathan
