HDMI maximum cable distance

Hi,

We are using TFP410(lvds to dvi) and TPD12S521(ESD protection) IC for lvds to HDMI transmission . I just want to know what is the maximum length of HDMI cable can drive with these ICs.

Hi,

HDMI standard does not specify minimum/maximum cable length. It strongly depends on cable class. If you need long range you might consider fiber optic solution.
