Hello,

My customer has some questions about TUSB9261.

[Q]

Do you have the specification of a maximum size of SPI flash?

They want to use 4Mbits device.

(I understand a minimum size of 512kbits is recommended)

(Table 8 of TUSB9261 Implementation Guide show SPI flash devices that have been tested with the TUSB9261.)

Hello Hiroshi,

There is no maximum recommended size for the SPI flash. The only constraint in size is the minimum recommended size which is 512 kbits (64k * 8). Additionally, make sure the flash complies with all the requirements stated at the 'TUSB9261 Implementation Guide' at chapter 10.

Also, after selecting a flash that it complies with the requirements, my recommendation is to test it first.
