SN65DP149: GPU's AUXp/N connection to DP140

there is no AUX_P/N in DP149 and just confirm GPU's AUXp/N connecting to SDA_SRC and SCL_SRC of DP149 with 2K pullup to 3.3V .

Hi Peter,

GPU's AUX will connect to DP149's DDC ports.

I need to confirm if we recommend using DDC snoop mode in this device.

there is no DDC pins but SDA_SRC and SCL_SRC pin in DP149. are you saying the SDA_SRC and SCL_SRC are DDC port for GPU' AUX? that is what i saw in reference schematics

Hi Peter,

DDC is display data channel it uses I2C(SCL/SDA)

If the GPU only has AUX port, this port may send I2C compliant levels or I2C-over-AUX when CAD=H.

DP149 implement clock stretching, if you face interoperability issues you would have to implement DDC snoop mode

DP159 includes an I2c-over-AUX to DDC level shifter.
