Hi Team,

Please allow me to confirm the device operation about MDIO initialization.

The device requires 32 consecutive MDC clock cycles for MDIO initialization. Could the device start normal operation when there is only 31 consecutive clock cycles or 63 consecutive clock cycles before starting MDIO communication ?

Hi Kawai,

31 clock cycles would not be enough to meet the requirement for 32 MDC clock cycles.

63 clock cycles would be acceptable. Any number of clock cycles greater than 32 can be sent before receiving the start code <01>.
