SDIO Re-drive

Hi Sirs,

We are survey SDIO Re-driver.

Platform is cherry trail Z8350, device is AMPAK AP6234

Does TI have any suggestion solution?

Thanks for your reply.

The SDIO spec as below

  • Hi Shu-Cheng,

    We should have devices that can be used to buffer these 200 Mbps signals out. Do you have DC Electrical Characteristics for this application? Is the voltage specification LVCMOS, LVDS, or something else?

    Thanks,

    Michael
  • Hi Michael.

    Please refer our spec inquire as below.  Please suggest suitable for us if possible.

    Thanks for your reply

     DC specification.

    For further SDIO specifications, please see below information

    Host(Intel, Z8350):

    Our SDIO should be in SDR104 mode, and VIO = 1.8V for device IO.

    And also, here is our SDIO device timing diagram.

    VDDIO=1.8V

  • Hi Shu-Cheng,

    I am not aware of a device that performs this function with single-ended 1.8-V LVCMOS. The redriver devices we typically see for high speed operate in differential signaling such as LVDS or CML.

    We also have translation devices that convert single-ended LVCMOS to LVDS and LVDS to LVCMOS, but they are only rated for use with 3.3-V LVCMOS logic.

    Regards,

    Michael
