  • Hello,

The TUSB73x0 use the xHCI Linux driver included by default since kernel 2.6, you 'll not need to add any additional driver.

    Roberto
  • all right roberto diaz but  , explain me this :

it is nearly impossible to find any software on linux to get the card fully functionnal  .

    it's a few months i'm searching for but : nothing else .

vlc doesn't seems to be compatible with and whatever i try , nothing else no more runs

like xine , smplayer , mplayer and so on ...

    can anyone help me  ?

kaffeine don't works any more with this card .

i've tried also as cinelerra as kdenlive but no one recognise my card

i need a driver but where is it ?

  • Hello,

The TUSB73x0 is a PCIe to USB host we are not familiarized with the avermedia board, coudl you please verify the TUSB7340 part is enumerating corectly?

-So you'll need to contact directly avermedia for any specific support in the audio part of the board.

    Regards,
    Roberto
  • i didn't understood you very well .

it sems that avermedia doesn't want to do any feedback about this card .

it seems that only windows drivers are available but no more linux ones .

that' s why i'm coming to you . i'd like  to find linux drivers .

because this card uses your chipset i'm turning towards you .

because that's not the aver media politic too .

aver media does not gives linux support about it's products .

06:00.0 USB controller: Texas Instruments TUSB73x0 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 xHCI Host Controller (rev 02)

  • The TUSB7340 is properly enumerated by Linux, hence the driver for our device is already installed.

06:00.0 USB controller: Texas Instruments TUSB73x0 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 xHCI Host Controller (rev 02)

As Roberto mentioned before, we can't provide ay further support on this since the driver you are looking is not for our device.

    Regards.
